Delivery & Returns
Delivery Information
We ship goods with services with track and trace except in Amsterdam, where we normally deliver by bicycle. Pick-up in our atelier is free. Delivery rates are:
Netherlands euro 6.75
European Union: euro 9,30
Rest of World: euro 19,00
Delivery time
We normally ship out within 48 hours, in which case you will receive your item the following working day. Unless we inform you that a product is still under making in our Amsterdam atelier; if that’s the case we will let you know as soon as possible! Please note New Optimist is not responsible for any delays of your package during delivery.
Refunds and Exchanges
You can return your purchase within 14 days after receiving your parcel, at your own expense by post or free of charge in our atelier. We only accept non-used items in new condition. We will either exchange the item and send it to you free of charge or New Optimist will refund your money.
If you want to return or exchange an item, please send us an email lilja@newoptimist.nl and we will assist your request.
Lost or Damaged Items
New Optimist shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the services we provide. New Optimist will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company immediately after shipping. We do not accept any responsibility for lost packages.
Import Tax
When ordering goods for international deliveries you may be subject to import duties and/or taxes that apply to your country. New Optimist is not responsible for any charges that are incurred from customs or duties. Any additional charges for customs clearance are outside of our control
Availability
We try our best to keep our web store as up to date as possible. Our stock is updated automatically, but there is always a possibility that the ordered item is still being made. New Optimist will inform you as soon as possible when this occurs.
