Sometimes! Because we try to make as little waste as possible, that means we're sometimes a little short in stock.
It's also possible we'll receive some sizes later than planned, or that some garments are still under construction in our atelier.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We ship worldwide! Is your country not available? Contact us so we can sort it out.

You can track your order in your account, and you'll receive the track & trace when your order has been shipped out.

If you didn’t receive a shipping confirmation or a tracking code, just contact us. We’re happy to help you!

We ship our orders with track and trace, usually the same (working) day. To add on to that, most couriers have next-day delivery.
Pick-up in our Atelier Shop is instant and free!

SUSTAINABILITY

Use this text to answer questions in as much detail as possible for your customers.

We produce all our garments according to our circular design and production principles. This means that New Optimist makes garments with as little pollution and waste as possible and clothing is designed so that it lasts as long as possible. Of course, when necessary, there is also our free repair service. You can read about our principles here.

New Optimist always chooses materials so that the garment can eventually be recycled into new yarn at the end of life. This also means we stitch with lyocell or organic cotton yarns, use plant-based buttons and only use bio-based fabrics. Read more about our materials here.

To make sure your garment gets recycled, we've set up our very own return deposit-"statiegeld" system. Read more about that (in Dutch) here.

Yes! We offer free repairs.

Either make an appointment and drop it off at our Atelier to have it repaired while you wait, or contact us with a picture or your repair and we'll send you a shipping label.

Great question!

In Germany, you might know it as "Pfand". Roughly translated: it's a monetary deposit return system. That means you pay a small amount extra as a deposit, tax free. You will receive that deposit back once you return your garment back to us at the end of its life.

FIT & SIZING

Our unisex sizes are based on men's sizes, and are all a little oversized.
Men can choose their regular size, women might prefer to size down.

We recommend using a tape measure to find your perfect fit. On our product page you'll find a size chart with the body measurements we use.

Also to help you find the right size, we describe the height of our models and the sizes they wear on the product pages. If you’re still unsure about your size, shoot us a chat message or email - we’re happy to help.
