Last September, New Optimist & Candour.Digital took an ambitious leap by introducing deposit on clothing. This introduced a next-generation (digital) take-back system that makes 100% circularity possible. Here, consumers are in control as they themselves can ensure that their previously owned piece of clothing becomes part of the fashion circle of life again. After a successful launch New Optimist is preparing to make the system accessible to other fashion brands later next year. Time to look ahead.
