Tuesday, May 9
Roua AlHalabi will introduce you to the making of natural ink and the dyeing process. The workshop puts our second design principle into action “Make products that don’t create waste or pollution.”
But it will not be all talking, you will get to put your new knowledge into practice! With Roua’s guidance, you will transform organic materials, such as fruit or vegetable, into textile ink by crushing, heating and cooling. You will then use the ink to create some patterns and simplistic designs with block stamps on organic textiles.

Duration: 2.5 hours
Location: Rombout Hogerbeetsstraat 109, 1052VW Amsterdam
